“Meeting the Challenges of the Daubert Trilogy: Refining and Redefining the Reliability of Forensic Evidence” a collaboration between Mara L. Merlino and Victoria Springer (University of Reno professors), Derek Hammond and Jan Seaman Kelly (ST2AR), and Latent Print Examiners Eric Sahota and Lori Haines, appears in the recently released Tulsa Law Review Vol. 43 No. 2 Winter 2007. This publication discusses efforts made by the forensic document examination and the latent print communities in meeting the Daubert criteria, including steps taken to demonstrate reliability in these two disciplines.
